During this Berlin Fashion Week, we observed not only increasing number of sustainable fashion brands but also brands shifting more to being sustainable, such as Reality Studio.

After the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Reality Studio started to ask themselves what they can do as a fashion label. And the designer Svenja Specht decided to make this 2012 Spring/Summer collection for the time for transition.

2012 Spring/Summer collection "Transition" consists of the highlights from previous 13 collections since 2005. Instead of creating new patterns, Svenja decided to invest the time they saved in researching CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) elements such as sustainability, environmentalism and fair trade.

Maiami also beautifully incorporated organic cotton, recycled cotton and recycled cashmere for its 2012 S/S collection without compromising its signature styles.
