Japanese poncho brand "mino" debuted with its 2012 Fall Winter collection.
mino was born in Gosen-shi, Niigata, which is the center of knitwear production in Japan.
mino is the original brand of Saifuku, inspired by mino, which is a straw raincoat and has been used in snowy region of Japan.
2012 Fall Winter collection items are "tate", "yoko", and "tsutsu". Each item offers two fabric variations: light wool and warm wool & alpaca.

light wool items uses wool from South America. warm wool & alpaca items use wool from Australia and baby alpaca from Peru. All fibres are spun in Japan.
Production takes place at Saifuku in Gosen-shi, Niigata.
