twosquaremeter
Skincare clothing.
The secret is the power of natural products.
Innovation & Clothing Factory's private brand "twosquaremeter" makes sure that the materials and production process are environmentally friendly as well as endurable.
The key fibre used in their debut collection is SeaCell® made from algae.
The brown algae used for the SeaCell® fibre are only harvested once a year off the northwest coast of Iceland.
When you wear SeaCell®, vital nutrients such as calcium, magnesium or vitamin E are released through the skin's natural moisture.
These evidence of valuable and active substances of the SeaCell® fibre, which are Ökotex certified and also carry Ecolabel for Environmental Friendliness, has been officially confirmed by the SGS Institut Fresenius.
twosquaremeter also uses milk fibre.
The milk was originally invented out of necessity during the second World War. When people were searching for an alternative fibre to the scarce supply of wool and cotton, which were primarily used for the soldiers’ uniforms, the quality of milk fibre was highly valued.
However, development of the milk fiber was not continued as it had to give way for the decidedly more cost-effective production of polyester and nylon textiles. TWOSQUAREMETER takes up this tradition and with collection pieces made out of milk fibers ensures an incomparable soft and nurturing feeling.
twosquaremeter's collection preserves this forgotten tradition and quality.
