Secret of the "flavour" treasured over a long time.

The name PARTIMI from the architectural term "Parti", which means being the conceptual starting point of a design project.

2011 S/S collection has been designed in homage to costumes that the designer’s grandmother collected from a sale of Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes costumes at Sotheby’s in 1969.

Inspiration is drawn from bold graphics married with the textures of hurried repairs, patching and repeated darning that mark the signs of wear-and-tear from over a century. Such imperfection gives the secret flavour to each costume piece.

Main fabric used for 2011 S/S collection "DIEU BLEU" is organic silk satin.
And organic cotton knitwear is produced in collaboration with Hiroko Nakajima who graduated from Central Saint Martins Fashion Knit course.

2014SS collection was inspired by the breathtaking Tresco Abbey Garden in the Isles of Scilly.

London-based designer Eleanor Dorrien-Smith graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Fashion and Print in June 2008. She worked for Mary Katrantzou, John Galliano, Eley Kishimoto and Tata-Naka, and founded hew own label "PARTIMI".
