Bangladesh Garment Factory Collapsed

2013/05/01

theguardian : Dhaka building collapse kills dozens in Bangladesh)

The second largest exporter of garments - Bangladesh. In its capital Dhaka, the 8-story building "Rana Plaza" collapsed on 24 April.

So far, over 390 people are reported to be dead and hundreds are still missing.

Who is there to be blamed? Is it the factory owner who ignored the police warning after crack were found on the building and forced employee to work? Or fast fashion retailers producing there?

As long as the demand for fast fashion is there, those who actually make clothing are the ones suffer from law pay and terrible working condition.

Somebody's human rights or life may be at risk to make your clothing. We should think again what we as individuals can do.
